NOTICE OF ADMINISTRATIVE CORRECTION
ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELOR COMMITTEE
APPLICATION PROCEDURE: LICENSED CLINICAL ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNSELOR
Take notice that the Division of Consumer Affairs has discovered an error in the current text of N.J.A.C. 13:34C-2.2. Paragraph (b)2 includes a reference to N.J.S.A. 42:2D-5 for the statutory requirements to be a certified alcohol and drug counselor. However, that cited statute does not exist, and appears as a result of a typographic error in the publication of the proposal and adoption of N.J.A.C. 13:34C as new rules (see 35 N.J.R. 3441(a) and 36 N.J.R. 1394(a)). The correct citation for the requirements is N.J.S.A. 45:2D-5, as was included in the original notice of proposal (see PRN 2003-301). This notice of administrative correction is published pursuant to N.J.A.C. 1:30-2.7.

13:34C-2.2 Application procedure: licensed clinical alcohol and drug counselor

(b) An applicant shall furnish evidence that the applicant has:

2. Successfully completed all the requirements to be a certified alcohol and drug counselor pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:34C-2.3(b)2 and 3 and 5 through 7 and N.J.S.A. <<-42:2D-5->> <<+45:2D-5+>>.
