A business will be required to designate a licensee as a Business Qualifier. The Business Qualifier will serve as the representative of a business and a source of contact with the Advisory Committee. A Business Qualifier must be listed for each license category in which the business is seeking a license. A licensee may serve as a Business Qualifier for more than one license category provided a license is held in each category.

The Business License fee is $75.00. The Business License will be valid for a triennial period, currently February 1, 2008 through January 31, 2011.

Once a business has been licensed, it will be required to provide the names of its employees and the duties the employees perform. A licensed business also will be asked to designate its employees as supervising/supervised or unsupervised. All employees will be required to undergo a criminal history background review and obtain photo identification cards. Applications with regard to employees will be sent to licensed businesses during the second phase of the business licensing process.

Additional information about Business Licenses may be obtained by downloading the Advisory Committee regulations which are located on the web site.
