APPROVAL OF INITIAL LICENSES (Lists to be distributed at the meeting) 1. Board to review applications for the written examination to be administered by Thompson Prometric. PENALTIES FRANK D’ARPA, LICENSE #8778 2. Check in the amount of $25.00 received from Mr. D’Arpa as the thirty-eighth installment of a civil penalty in the amount of $2,500.00 for violation of N.J.S.A. 45:5A-9 and N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq. Payments started September 25, 2002 and the balance due is $1,550.00. PETER GIOELLO, LICENSE #9669 3. Check in the amount of $5,000.00 received from Mr. Gioello, License #9669, as the first and final payment in the amount of $5,000.00 for violation of N.J.S.A. 45:5A-9 and N.J.S.A. 56:8-1 et seq. CONTINUING EDUCATION LAWRENCE H. KOSDEN 4. Sub-committee to review additional information received from Mr. Kosden concerning his application for Continuing Education Course Seminar approval. The Committee had previously requested that Mr. Kosden provide a detailed course description for each subject matter. SWANSON CONSULTING 5. Sub-committee to review an application for Continuing Education Course Seminar approval received from Joe Swanson. PENN-DEL-JERSEY CHAPTER NECA 6. Sub-committee to review an application for Continuing Education Course Seminar approval received from Thomas McNulty. TOM PERNAL 7. Sub-committee to review an application for Continuing Education Course Seminar approval received from Mr. Pernal. ELECTRIC EDUCATION CENTER 8. Sub-committee to review an application for Continuing Education Course Seminar approval received from Richard F. Van Wert. WILLIAM CAPODANNO, LICENSE #2199 9. Letter dated August 11, 2008, received from William Capodanno, License #2199, t/a Capodanno Electric, requesting a waiver of the Continuing Education Courses for the 2009 to 2012 renewal period pursuant to N.J.A.C. 13:31-1.7. REINSTATEMENT RONALD PATRICK, LICENSE #13182 AND EUGENE F. MEDAGLIA, LICENSE #8782 10. Letter dated September 11, 2008, received from Marty Ryan, Associate Vice Chancellor for Facilities, Rutgers University, on behalf of Ronald Patrick and Eugene Medaglia. Mr. Ryan states that Messrs. Patrick and Medaglia are attempting to reinstate their license for the triennial renewal period of April 1, 2006 to March 31, 2009; however, they have been unable to find the continuing education courses required for that renewal period. CEASE AND DESIST AGREEMENTS 11. Signed cease and desist agreements were received from Michael Parisi, Wall, New Jersey; John and Mary Budge, Matawan, New Jersey; Edward King, Marmora, New Jersey; Herber and Gladys Villaizan, Fair Lawn, New Jersey; Ron Barca, t/a Master Handyman, Toms River, New Jersey, agreeing to include the language in their advertisement that all electrical work is "performed by licensed electrical contractors". Signed cease and desist agreement received from Peter J. Gioello, License #9669. CONTINUING EDUCATION AUDIT 12. Board to discuss penalty amounts to be issued to licensees who do not have the correct amount of Continuing Education hours required to renew his/her license for the 2006 to 2009 triennial renewal period. Board to also discuss instructors who have not followed continuing education guidelines. Attached is a draft prepared by Mr. Malec.
