The next scheduled Board meeting will convene on November 12, 2009. FYI. B) John Bonner, is requesting that the Board help change the Department of Health and Senior Services procedures, to allow New Jersey licensees, who is not affiliated with a New Jersey Funeral Home to participate in its E.D.R.S. program. 10) OPEN DISCIPLINARY MATTERS A) The Final Order of Denial of Registration was filed with the Board on October 19, 2009, in regards to Patricia Finley’s application to register a New Jersey Funeral Home. FYI. B) 08-08 Van Tassel Chickene Funeral Home, Bloomfield, Mgr., Joseph Fantasia, paid the penalty of $5,000.00 for violation of N.J.A.C. 13:36-9.7 (a), N.J.A.C. 13:36-1.9 and N.J.S.A. 45:1-21 (e) on October 16, 2009. FYI. C) 09-45 Brown and Brown Funeral Service, Hackensack Mgr., Rae C. Jones-Brown, paid the penalty of $350.00 for violation of 16 C.F.R. § 453.3 (c)(2) and N.J.A.C. 13:36-9.11(b) on October 15, 2009. Note: The funeral home revised forms was provided as proof of compliance to violation N.J.A.C. 13:36-9.6 (b),N.J.A.C. 13:36- 9.5 (b) and N.J.A.C. 13:36-9.7 (a). FYI. 11) ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION A) Final Draft of Sunset Review 12) EXECUTIVE SESSION - Discuss consumer complaints and/or conduct investigative inquiries. The results of these deliberations will be made known when and if the Board determines to initiate disciplinary or other law enforcement action. If the Board determines to issue uniform penalty letters, that action will be taken in public session immediately after the executive session. 13) ADJOURNMENT |
