The Fire Alarm, Burglar Alarm and Locksmith Advisory Committee, which is under the supervision of the Board of Examiners of Electrical Contractors, is currently developing rules, regulations and standards to govern the licensing and practice of fire and burglar alarm installers and locksmiths.
