1. The Committee reiterated its opposition to A3596/S706 which was recently revised. This bill would require licensed home inspectors to report an energy rating for each home inspected for a buyer in contemplation of purchase

Joseph Cummins - Field-Based Inspections July 11, 2008

2. The Committee stated its law codified at N.J.S.A. 45:8-68(c)(1), which requires that the 40 hours of unpaid field-based inspections must be performed during a live field-based paid home inspection, and in the presence of and under the direct supervision of a licensed home inspector.
