Safe Syringe & Assistance for Substance Abuse Issues

The Department of Health has made information available on its website regarding the safe disposal of syringes and addiction services, as required by N.J.S.A. 2C:36-6.2 b(2) (a) and (b). Pharmacists in New Jersey may now commence selling syringes to patients under N.J.S.A. 2C:36-6.2, and are required to make available to each person who purchases any such instrument, at the time of purchase, this information to be compliant with the law.
