Please be advised that the Division of Consumer Affairs is aware that due to a printing error some licensees and former licensees may have received letters with incorrect renewal dates or outdated letterhead during the first week of December 2019. Alert: Land Surveyor’s State Specific Exam |
On May 10,, 2019 Governor Phil Murphy signed into law a requirement that Land Surveyor applicants take a New Jersey State Specific Exam as part of the application process. That law will become effective six months after it was signed or beginning November 11, 2019. Please refer to the Board website for updates.

Please be advised that all requests for approval of Continuing Professional Competency classes must be submitted on the most current Board forms. The most current form for Professional Engineers was revised on 4/2019 and Land Surveyor’s, was revised on 6/2018. Both can be found on the Board website under Applications, Form and Fees, and further under Continuing Professional Competency Approval Forms. Requests not submitted on the proper forms will be returned.
